General
· Grow Training are committed to inform, engage and inspire our delegates.
· All courses will be delivered by a suitably qualified and experienced trainer/ consultant.
· Grow Training are a fully licensed IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health), REHIS (Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland) & NEBOSH (National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health) training centre.
Fees / Charges
· Prices quoted on proposals and advertised on www.growtraining.com exclude VAT, which will be applied at current HMRC rate.
· An invoice will be raised on confirmation of booking. All fees must be paid within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
· Prices quoted are inclusive of tuition, course materials and certification.
· Costs apply for replacement certificates.
· Costs may apply for exam resits.
· Payments can be made online through our secure payment system, by BACS transfer, by cheques made payable to Grow Training Group Ltd or by debit / credit card by phoning 0141 488 7500.
Reschedule / Cancellation Fees
We ask that companies and delegates give us as much notice as possible if they wish to reschedule or cancel a training course. The following fees apply for changes and cancellations:

Grow Training will always aim to deliver training as planned.
In the event that Grow Training wish to make changes to an in-house training course, this will be negotiated with the company involved. If an alternative option cannot be negotiated, a full refund will be given to the organisation.
If we are delivering the training at your premises we require you to provide that meets the following criteria:
- Large enough to comfortably accommodate all learners and the presenter
- Maintained at a comfortable temperature
- Ample lighting in place, preferably with natural light
- Each learner has a comfortable chair and desk space
- Training room is in a quiet area
- Welfare facilities are available and in a good state of repair (including toilet facilities, drinking water etc)
- Venue meets all legally required H&S requirements
- Training room is accessible for delegates with physical disabilities
Live Online
To attend our live online training sessions, delegates are required to have:
- A computer / tablet device. Phones are not recommended as the screen size may not be large enough to see the course materials
- A robust internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 5 MBPS
- Speakers and a microphone (or earphones with a microphone)
- A functioning webcam
- Access to a quiet room / area with no distractions
All delegates must have their own personal device.
Our live online courses are structured to replicate a physical classroom environment. Delegates must have their webcam live at all times and engage fully in group exercises.
Examinations
Many of our courses require delegates to complete an end of course examination. The following terms apply:
· Companies must inform Grow Training in advance if a delegate has additional support needs. This allows us to ensure we can provide the required support.
· If a delegate is unsuccessful in gaining the required score on the re-sit examination it will be deemed that they have not passed the course or receive a certificate. The full training fee will still apply in this circumstance.
· Delegates have the right to appeal an examination outcome if they feel they have been unfairly marked. This can be done by calling 0141 488 7500 or emailing info@growtraining.com.
Additional Support Needs
Grow Training are an inclusive training provider. We aim to ensure that all our training venues are fully accessible to persons with a physical disability. We are able to make reasonable adjustments to course delivery, material and assessments for delegates with additional support needs including (but not limited to):
- Physical disability
- Visual or hearing impairment
- Dyslexia
- English as a second language
- Barriers to learning
- Neurodiversity

If you have an additional support need or physical disability that you believe may affect your performance in an exam, it’s important you bring this to our attention at least 4 weeks before the exam date. Our awarding body partners have options available, including extending deadlines and allowing more time to complete an exam. Acceptable use of materials and facilities
· All training materials are subject to copyright laws and must not be reproduced or used unless otherwise stated or agreed.
· Smoking and Vaping is prohibited on Grow Training premises. A smoking / vaping area is available.
· Personal belonging and items in possession of any delegate brought into the premises are the sole responsibility of the owner. Grow Training accepts no responsibility for such items.
· Delegates using any car parking facilities at Grow Training’s premises do so entirely at their own risk. Grow Training does not accept any responsibility for damage, accident or loss resulting from such usage.
Exclusion
Grow Training Ltd reserves the right to refuse access to its premises and/or ask a delegate to leave if it believes they are in breach of these conditions or where a delegate uses threatening, bullying, harassing or disruptive behaviour or appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Grow Training will not be liable for any losses or expense (including course fees and consequential damages) incurred by a delegate arising from such an exclusion.

Escalation
If you remain unsatisfied with how your complaint is resolved, you have the right to escalate to the awarding body of the course you are undertaking. Guidance on how to lodge your complaint with the awarding bodies can be found here:

Data Protection GDPR
Grow Training needs to collect certain types of information about people we deal with in order to operate. This includes information relating to current, past or prospective employees, awarding bodies, learners, suppliers, clients and others we communicate with.
The UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (Data Protection Law) provides various safeguards relating to the management if individuals’ personal data. It places a number of obligations own Grow Training to ensure that data is managed effectively and lawfully. Grow Training fully endorses and adheres to the principles of data protection, as set out in Data Protection Law.
You can make a formal request to receive copies of any information held about you by Grow Training. To do this you are required to submit a subject access request.
To comply with Data Protection Law Grow Training will:
- Ensure fair collection and use of information;
- Meet its legal obligation to specify the purposes for which information is used;
- Collect and process appropriate information needed to fulfil operational need or comply with legal requirements;
- Ensure the quality of information used;
- Ensure that information is held for no longer than necessary;
- Ensure that the right of an individual are fully exercised under the Act;
- Take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to safeguard personal information;
- Ensure that personal information is not transferred to a country outside the EEU without suitable safeguard.
