A while back we were told we had been nominated for the second annual Scottish Enterprise Awards 2018…
Last month, we got an e-mail letting us know that we had been successfully awarded the title of Most Trusted H&S Training Company 2018!
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who voted for us and for the Scottish Enterprise judging panel for recognising our hard work in our industry. It’s a great encouragement to keep doing what we do, knowing that we’re benefiting the wider Scottish community.
What Are The Scottish Enterprise Awards?
The Scottish Enterprise Awards are fairly new. It was established in 2017 to give recognition to key contributors to Scotland’s thriving and constantly evolving business sector.
In 2016, 99% of private sector enterprises were SMEs, so the Scottish economy relies heavily on them. Scottish Enterprise feels it is crucial to reward these businesses for their hard work which helps keep the country afloat.
Any Scottish SME business can be nominated for the award, whatever their size and specialties. Nominations are put forward by SME-News, self-nominations, or by third parties on an online voting form.
How Do They Pick Their Winners?
Once the nominations are collected, a shortlist is compiled. Nominees offer up anything that supports their case for a place on the shortlist and a winning title.
Scottish Enterprise have set up a panel of judges who come from a variety of backgrounds in different fields of expertise, including business, media, journalism, language, and history. They carry out extensive research on each accepted nominee to pick the cream of the crop.
How Did We Get It?
We have been working incredibly hard since we formed in 2013 to provide the best possible health and safety training to individuals and businesses across the country.
Our IOSH Edinburgh and Glasgow courses have proven extremely popular and our feedback has been outstanding.
We have also worked very hard to produce quality, informative (and also award-winning!) blog content, answering all your health and safety-related queries.
Our guiding principles of informing, engaging, and inspiring everyone who enters our training facilities or signs up for a course with us encourages us to do our work to the best of our ability, so it is an honour to be granted this award.
