This post is for those who are currently preparing to take their NEBOSH NGC exam with Grow Training.
We hope you’ve been enjoying your training so far! We’ve put this guide together to give you all the information to complete your NG2 risk assessment project.
Accessing the documents
Start by downloading the NG2 template and support documents from Grow Academy.
Submitting your Draft NG2
Once you have completed your NG2, you have the option of uploading it as a draft submission. Our assessors will have a look through your work and provide feedback. This service is optional but recommend as it will improve your chance of passing. The deadline to submit your NG2 draft will be in your joining instructions email (search NG2 in your email inbox to find this email). The submission deadline for your draft is typically one week before the deadline for your final submission.
Please upload your draft NG2 via Grow Academy on or before the deadline.
Please note – NEBOSH are strict on how much support we are permitted to give here. We can indicate if you’re on the right track, and advise if you have any glaring errors, but can’t ‘coach’ you on how to pass or indicate whether or not we think the paper will pass.
Submitting your Final NG2
Based on our assessors feedback, you may want to make some final tweaks to your NG2 project. Once you are happy with your work, you can submit your final NG2 to Grow Academy. This must be submitted on or before the NG2 final deadline date that will be stated in your joining instructions email (search NG2 in your email inbox to find this email). Once you have uploaded your final NG2 there’s no going back! So please ensure you’ve done the following:
- Completed your assessment on the NEBOSH NG2 template
- Completed all sections of the NG2 paper
- Ensured your full name and NEBOSH Learner Number are on the footer of each page
- You have included the following information at the start of Part 2:
- Organisation Name
- Date of Assessment
- Scope of Assessment
- The file is in PDF format (let us know if you’re unsure how to save the file as PDF)
- You’ve named the file ‘[Your Name] Final Draft’
Please also keep a copy of your NG2 in word format in case any changes are required.
Getting your results
Once you’ve submitted your final NG2 to Grow Academy your job is done! We will send it to NEBOSH on your behalf for them to assess.
Your results are expected around six weeks after your NG2 submission. Hopefully, this will be good news and you can start the celebrations! If, however you don’t pass, please don’t panic or be too disappointed. We’ll be in touch to go over your options with you at this stage, which includes the option to appeal the examiner’s decision if you feel they’ve been overly harsh, or to book you in for a resit. If you have been referred on NG2, the NEBOSH examiner will give you feedback on what sections need to be changed. This typically means making a few changes and tweaks to your existing NG2 project, you shouldn’t have to complete the whole project again.
