NEBOSH HSE Award in Managing Risks and Risk Assessment at Work
We are delighted to announce that Grow Training are one of the first training providers in the UK to be launching the new NEBOSH HSE Award in Managing Risks and Risk Assessment at Work course (we know – it’s a mouthful!).
This new award is an introductory level qualification and has been jointly developed with the Health and Safety Executive. It is structured around the Health and Safety Executive’s approach to controlling the risks caused by workplace hazards.
Developing straightforward, practical health and safety risk management skills allow you to go beyond risk assessment to effectively control the health and safety risks caused by hazards.

The course is designed for for anyone involved in managing workplace health and safety risks, particularly those who undertake risk assessments.This will make it popular amongst managers, union reps, safety reps and safety champions. As well as covering best practise, the course details many of the common pitfalls that people fall into when conducting risk assessments, such as completing an assessment after the fact or relying too heavily on safety consultants.
